- Guarantee: All of our geckos are guaranteed to ship in a well hydrated condition. We feed our geckos a mixture of dusted, gutloaded dubia roaches and crickets periodically supplemented with multi vitamins. All geckos are guaranteed to ship at an appropriate weight in well fed condition. We will not ship hatchlings under ten grams. We offer a guarantee of live arrival provided that someone is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt by the carrier. Dead on arrival purchases must be reported within the first twelve hours of receipt. We offer a survival guarantee for the first twenty-four hours. After twenty-four hours of receipt survival of the gecko becomes the responsibility of the buyer. We guarantee that the gecko shipped will have been accurately represented to you by pictures or we will buy it back!
- Payments: Payment will be made in full prior to shipment of gecko(s). We will accept paypal, money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks. Please allow 5-7 business days for clearance of personal checks prior to shipment. Payments made via paypal will require an additional three percent to cover paypal fees.
- Holding: All geckos are sold on a first-pay basis unless a hold agreement is reached between eyecandygeckos.com and the buyer. We will hold a gecko for up to three business days pending priority mail or overnight shipment of payment. We will hold geckos for up to seven business days pending clearance of personal checks. We will hold geckos for up to twenty-one days upon payment in full. If weather conditions prohibit shipping, we will continue to hold geckos until conditions permit shipping (free of charge). We will hold geckos for up to fourteen days for a thirty percent, non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied toward final purchase.
- Cancellation: Orders cancelled after receipt of deposit or payment are subject to up to a fifty percent cancellation fee, as we may have lost other potential buyers in the process. Such fees may be waived if another buyer is still available, but are handled on a case-by-case basis.
- Shipping: All geckos will be shipped via UPS Next Day Air or FedEx Priority Overnight. Shipping, handling, and material cost will be a flat rate of $55.00 (for up to three geckos) unless otherwise specified. If actual cost of shipping, materials, and transportation to shipping depot are significantly lower, we will do our best to refund the difference. Shipping is subject to limitations of the carrier. We will only ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Local pickup may be arranged where applicable upon agreement of eyecandygeckos.com and the buyer. All animals will be shipped in insulated containers inside well marked boxes with appropriate heat/cool packs. Shipping will be postponed if eyecandygeckos.com feels weather conditions could be detrimental to the health of the gecko. We will do our best to assess the weather prior to shipment, but cannot be held responsible for unexpected weather changes during shipping. We cannot be held responsible for carrier-related issues. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Limitations: We do not offer a guarantee on the sex of temperature sexed geckos. We do our best to raise each gecko with the kindest disposition possible, but are unable to guarantee its behavior. We do not offer a guarantee on fertility unless gecko is sold as a proven breeder. We cannot guarantee the adult appearance of juvenile or hatchling geckos. Refunds agreed to by eyecandygeckos.com will be granted after live, safe arrival of returned gecko(s).
- Conditions: Buyer must be at least eighteen years of age or have parental consent. Buyer must be available to accept delivery at time and location agreed upon by eyecandygeckos.com and the buyer. Refunds and exchanges will be handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion based on the terms listed above. In the event that the terms listed above do not cover circumstances, the decision is left up to eyecandygeckos.com and its owners.
